Michael’s orchestral debut came when he was invited by John Georgiadis to guest conduct the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra.
Since then conducting credits have included the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, Stockholm Sinfonietta, Slovenia Radio Symphony Orchestra (televised), Tivoli Symphony Orchestra, Oslo Concert Orchestra and Nederlands Balletorkest.

He has conducted Evita in Concert, John Barrowman in Concert (both for West End International) as well as several West End gala concerts including The Styne Way (Palladium) Mr Wonderful – A Sammy Davis Jr Gala Tribute (Drury Lane).

His classical repertoire in the last few years has included: Candide; Tchaikovsky 4th Symphony; Romeo & Juliet Suites; Enigma Variations; Faure Requiem; Mozart 25th Symphony; Sheherazade (Ravel); Rejoice in the Lamb; Threepenny Opera Suite. Stravinsky's
Symphony in Three Movements, and most recently 'The Rite of Spring.

In January 2010 he made his debut with The Covent Garden Chamber Orchestra with a programme including Stravinsky's Symphony in C.
