Michael has just completed work as Conductor and Musical Director for the UK premiere Live televison broadcast of The Sound of Music on ITV.

Prior to that he was working on Pure Imagination, a new show featuring the work of double Oscar and Grammy Award winner, Leslie Bricusse, for which Michael was Musical Director, Vocal Arranger and Orchestrator. 

2015 has seen return concerts to conduct the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.  In July Michael conducted the UK debut concert performance of George Gershwin's Of Thee I Sing at the Royal Festival Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and he will return to the Festival Hall with a concert in March 2016.

He made his debut in September wih the BBC Concert Orchestra on the long running BBC Radio 2 broadcast, Friday Night is Music Night. 

Previous engagements has included work as Musical Supervisor for Tell Me On a Sunday, Musical Director for the West End production of The Pajama Game (Shaftesbury Theatre), orchestrator for the world premiere production of Duncton Wood, Cover Conductor for The Rite of Spring (Royal Ballet);  'Les Misérables' (film); and Musical Supervisor for the All Male H.M.S. Pinafore (UK Tour), the All Male Pirates of Penzance (Australia).

His compositions include Rosa for the dance company DMD (Sadlers Wells)  and La Destinée, composed for the Royal Ballet School, which premiered at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
